From November 12 to 15, the inspiring team will welcome visitors to Hall 5, Stand A9 with AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOCG, CABERNET SAUVIGNON IGT VENETO, DON CARLO VENETO IGT, MERLOT IGT VENETO, PINOT GRIGIO BLUSH DELLE VENEZIE DOC and SAUVIGNON BLANC IGT TREVENEZIE.

A legacy of excellence in winemaking. This is how we chose to describe the CANTINA LEVORATO winery, which has a nearly 100-year history, which began in 1928 with Umberto Levorato and his brother Gino.

Today, CANTINA LEVORATO produces nearly 100,000 bottles of wine every day, distributing them to numerous countries around the world. The winery offers a diverse range of wines in three categories: typical regional, prestigious with DOC and DOCG appellations and certified organic. These wines represent the best wine-growing regions of Italy, including Veneto, Friuli, Abruzzo, Puglia and Sicily.

Yes, this is AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita – DOCG). With a region of origin in Veneto, Italy, this wine from CANTINA LEVORATO is created from the Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella varieties. The alcohol content is 16%.

“The grapes are hand-picked in late September to early October. Only the best bunches are selected and then dried,” the team shares.

The wine is aged for at least 2 years in oak barrels, with additional refinement in the bottle to develop its richness and complexity.

It is recommended to be consumed with stewed or roasted red meats and hard cheeses.

 

The Perfect Harvest

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and with an alcohol content of 12%, CABERNET SAUVIGNON IGT VENETO represents the Veneto region, Italy.

The grapes are harvested in late September to early October, when they reach full maturity, which guarantees rich aromas and structured tannins.

The wine is a deep ruby ​​red with purple hues, showing its intensity and youthful vitality. The aroma is bold and complex, with aromas of blackcurrant, ripe blackberry and dark cherry. Hints of green pepper, dried herbs and a touch of spices, such as black pepper and cloves, add depth and character.

It is recommended to be consumed with roasted or grilled red meats and pasta with hearty meat sauces.

 
A blend of Corvina, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot

Made from Corvina and Cabernet Sauvignon, in a ratio of 40%:30%:30%, is DON CARLO VENETO IGT. The alcohol content is 14%. The selected grapes are fermented separately at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The maceration process is short. It extracts bright color and soft tannins. The wines are blended after fermentation and aged in stainless steel tanks, with some aging in oak barrels for additional complexity.

The aromas of red cherries and raspberries from Corvina combine beautifully with the notes of blackcurrant and herbs from Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot contributes a hint of plum and a hint of vanilla, with a hint of spices adding complexity.

The taste is very full and harmonious, with aromas of ripe red and dark fruits, fine spices and a touch of earthiness. Silky Merlot tannins, a robust Cabernet Sauvignon structure, and lively Corvina acidity create a balanced and approachable wine. The finish is smooth and persistent, with notes of red fruit and a hint of cocoa.

How to serve? With medium-aged cheeses, such as fontina or asiago.

Yes, this is MERLOT IGT VENETO. Its alcohol content is 12%. The grapes are harvested in late September to early October, ensuring optimal ripeness for rich aromas and smooth tannins. The harvest is carefully planned to balance the natural acidity and sugar levels of the fruit.

Appearance: deep ruby ​​red with garnet highlights, reflecting a rich and vibrant character. The aroma is enticing, with notes of ripe red cherries, blackberries and plums. There are also subtle notes of violets, dried herbs and a touch of spices, such as black pepper and vanilla.

The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by a touch of dark chocolate and spices. The tannins are soft and well-integrated, and the balanced acidity provides freshness. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering notes of red fruits and a hint of licorice.

Best paired with roasted or grilled meats, pasta with rich tomato sauces or meat ragu.

PINOT GRIGIO BLUSH DELLE VENEZIE DOC is created from 100% Pinot Grigio. Alcohol Vol.: 12%. The grapes are harvested in late August to early September at the peak of ripeness to ensure the perfect balance between fruitiness and acidity. The harvest is usually carried out during the cooler hours of the day to preserve the fresh, aromatic character of the fruit.

The grapes undergo a short maceration with the skins to achieve a delicate blush color. After a light pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts to preserve the fresh and fruity profile. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright and fresh character.

The palate is fresh and light, with aromas of fresh red berries, citrus fruits and a delicate hint of white peach. The acidity is refreshing, providing a lively and clean mouthfeel.

It pairs best with light seafood dishes – baked shrimp, mussels or sushi. Fresh salads with fruits such as strawberries or citrus fruits. Light pasta dishes with delicate tomato sauce or seafood.

Sixth, but not least, we present SAUVIGNON BLANC IGT TREVENEZIE, representing the Italian region of Trevenezie. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this is a wine with an alcohol content of 12%. The grapes are hand-picked in mid-to-late September, when they reach optimal ripeness, preserving the balance of aromatic intensity and refreshing acidity. The harvest is carried out during the cooler hours of the day to preserve the fresh and crisp character of the wine.

Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures with selected yeasts to preserve the freshness and aromatic profile characteristic of the variety. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its purity and vibrant character.

The color of the wine is pale straw yellow with bright greenish highlights, highlighting its fresh nature.

The aroma is intense, with notes of gooseberries, green apple and freshly cut grass. Notes of citrus fruits such as grapefruit and lime, along with a hint of elderberry, add complexity and freshness.

The taste is fresh and lively, with aromas of green apple, citrus peel and a subtle herbal note. Refreshing acidity provides a bright and clean mouthfeel, while delicate minerality gives depth to the wine. The finish is fresh, with notes of lemon peel and fresh herbs.

SAUVIGNON BLANC IGT TREVENEZIE is recommended to be consumed with fresh seafood, such as oysters, mussels or ceviche and grilled white meats.
